Statement of Faith
What We Believe
Led by the Spirit of God, we have received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and profess our faith through baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In covenant with one another, we pledge to live as one body in Christ, walking together in love and working for the advancement of God’s Kingdom through knowledge, holiness, and service.
We Commit To
Supporting the mission, worship, and spiritual growth of Brown Christian Academy.
Giving generously to the work of ministry, caring for those in need, and spreading the gospel globally,
Maintaining personal and family devotion, seeking the salvation of others, and living justly, faithfully, and respectfully.
Avoiding gossip, slander, excessive anger, and any conduct that does not honor Christ.
Being zealous in our efforts to advance the Kingdom of God.
We Will
Pray for one another and offer help in times of sickness or distress.
Show Christian sympathy and courtesy in speech.
Be slow to take offense and quick to reconcile, following the example of our Savior.
Join a like-minded church promptly when moving to a new location and continue to live out these principles.
